Although Daddy Diarist and I have already agreed this is an absolute no, I have to brag that Thor's daycare director told me she thought he could test into 1st grade. If he chose to take the test, that is. She forgot that part.

Since DD is a great brain, who won a full ride honors scholarship to a mighty fine school, and since I can tie my shoes by myself, I figured Thor's chances for intellectual success were good. It's nice to have that confirmed before he has even stepped foot into a real classroom.

It is also nice to know that DD and I agree that the boy needs to be a child, and needs to walk up all the steps.
